“deviantART widgets for WordPress” 0.1.6 is out !

What’s this ?

After some infructuous searches, I started to develop this plugin for myself to help me share my interest on graphism and art in general.

So here it is ! You can now promote your favorites artists, your art or simply your journal into your blog.

Built-in Features

• Supports Favourites, Galleries and Journal Feeds
• Cache management to preserve performance and bandwidth consumption
• Thumbnail generation
• Unlimited number of widgets
• User folder filtering for Galleries and Favourites
• Custom CSS administration
• Setup checks to avoid incompatibilities
• And more to come …

Prerequisites, Downloads

Requirements

• WordPress 2.8 or greater.
• PHP 5 with curl

Downloads

You call go to WordPress hosted site at : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/deviantart-widgets/ to download stables versions. You can also use the builtin plugin installer provided with WordPress or use github/downloads to get pre-releases (advanced users only).

   Hi, I recently started a bloghosting platform (based on wordpress MU) and when I stumbled your blog I paid attention to your theme (looking good) so I was wondering can you tell me is it custom made theme or one of those free ones? thanks in advance! regards, blogiskewl

   Hi ! Thanks !

   You can use this plugin in your footer if your theme supports widgets in footer.

   PS: Sorry for the late reply it seems that you have found a way to do it

   Hi,
   I would like to list several dA galleries on a page in WordPress instead of a widget. Is there any shortcode for making this possible? (If not, could you provide me some PHP example for calling your widget from a page?)

   Hi,
   This feature is planned for 0.2 release which is currently under development.
   You can find source code here, it may be buggy and not full functionnal but if you have some PHP skills you can hack this branch.
